After playing a bit too much killzone 2, I became motivated enough to take a quick stab at a Helghast, a.k.a. "Hig"; A mutated, loyal, and fierce inhabitant of the harsh planet of "Helgan". Just think Nazi meets Star wars meets Halo meets Apocalypse Now. Yeah.
I sketched the figure out in a non photo blue, then inked B&W with Faber Castell PITT pens. The final gray scale shading was also done with a Faber Castell set. Finished with Digital color layers.
